Okay guys, I finally found the car with the specs I was looking for and the price that I want. I go to the dealer to check out the car and everything is great. Start the engine and there is 36miles on the odometer already! Is this normal for a new car that's supposedly sitting outside in a lot? Do you guys think it was rented out or the demo car? I would understand anything below 10 as it needs to be moved around the lot to have access to other cars.

Another thing was when I opened the hood, I could definitely hear the engine making an annoying noise almost like a squealing/winding noise. Very similar to this noise:

It's not as loud as the example in the video but faint. If you listen carefully you will definitely hear it from the inside of the car and out.

This is normal for the RX??

...my friend if you are not happy with that noise, don't even look back...run and go somewhere else, do not think for a minute that anyone will give you an honest answer at the dealership..they can't since they don't know and all the want to do is sell the vehicle..."and since you have a 4 year warranty,etc,etc,etc...".t could be nothing but you don't know that....walk away....you have an opportunity to see and drive the RX, which is what it is supposed to be...must dealers will not allow you to do that since they do not want to "..pile miles" on test drives that do not result in sales....good luck to you.....
