I didn't think we would own anything physical. It's a file stored in a "cloud" somewhere and you have the file pass through some sort of a device on the way to the auditory cortex of your brain. Actual sound not produced, just that part of your brain is stimulated as if you heard music.
It's part of the next generation RX. Does require non-invasive surgery. A whole bunch of training required for your service advisor. Good thing is Sirius/XM is NOT involved.

Well, I must apologize to Jim. I did not realize you could select various sampling rates in iTunes and will assume that's what he meant by careful preparation. I should have researched this more before "shooting my fingers" off.

IMO playing music from a USB in the RX is horrible. I still don't understand how it sorts my music other than fairly randomly.
And you can't change music folders while the car is moving. My BMW without nav handles the music on my USB pretty much perfectly. The same USB drive in the RX and its pretty much useless.
