Just brought home our little lady from the hospital in my wife's RX. I put the baby seat on the passenger rear because I couldn't find LATCH tethers for the middle of the seat. Are there LATCH tethers for the middle seat or do I just use the inside clips from the left and right sides?

Congrats!! Infant car seat info starts on page 131 for a 2012. If you choose to install the seat in the center, which is safer but more difficult to reach, you use the inner latch anchors from the left and right seat.

Thanks jclem. I just finished switching the base into the middle. After a little work and it's in. There was just enough length in the straps for the latch anchors to connect. Feel better b/c of the side airbags having the baby seat in the middle.

Sounds like you have the Chicco system. Yes, the latches just barely reach the anchors when the base is in the center, but at least it's a nice snug fit.
