For those who were asking me if I got a good deal...I think so may be you can tell me. My base price is $39,025 and the OTD is $42,500. I got it from Putnam Lexus in Redwood City, CA. My sales guy was extremely helpful.

I am a newbie on this forumn and also a New proud owner of a 2013 Lexus RX 350. I am really enjoying the ride and am glad I bought this car. I have looked at other cars before pulling trigger on this one, besides got a really good deal on this car. I am also very glad to be part of this forumn.
My car has the following options
FWD with out Navigation.
Lexus Display Audio package includes,
[7-inch display screen, HD Radio with iTunes tagging
advanced bluetooth technology, Backup camera,
Single CD player, 12-speaker premium audio system]
Heated and ventilated power seats.
Intuitive Parking Assist [Premium Pkg includes Leather Trim Int, One-Touch
Open/Close Moonroof, Power folding electrochromic heated outside mirrors,
Heated Outside Mirrors, Pwr Rr Dr, USB Audio
Driver's Seat/Steering/Mirror Memory-3 settings]
Wood & Leather Trimmed Steering Wheel & Shift ****

That's an awesome deal. Nearly what I paid for a 2010. Maybe I am just a poor negotiator.

It's not you always as there are other factors like dealership, sales guy, timing of sale, research etc...
In my case after finalizing the make, model of the car(Lexus RX350), I was in search of a pre-owned car to save some money but all the dealers quoted me almost close to a new car saying that Lexus does not depreciate that much like other cars bla bla. We then decided that we won't go for CPO if the difference is not more than 5K. I then got in contact with a number of dealerships via email got the quotes. One weekday I was almost about to close a deal on a 2012 model but the deal broke and fell apart by the finance manager at the last minute and my wife was very disappointed as she really liked the car. The following week(weekend, month end, quarter end June 30th) I went to this other dealer for the current car(2013 model) and closed the deal. My sales guy was friendly and tipped me that they were suppose to sell 8 cars for that month and that he will work with us on the price to earn my business besides I drove 150 miles away from home to that dealership. When I stepped into the dealership I clearly told my sales guy that I don't want to waste anybody's time and that I will close the deal immediately if I like the price. They did play their usual tricks but I was well informed because of my prior research. Overall highly satisfied with the dealership, salesguy and the car. Sorry about my lenghty email!!!
