2013 RX 350 AWD Trailer Hitch

I just bought a 2012 RX450h with the factory Towing Preparation package, this showed on the spec sheet, and there is a grille behind the front driver side wheel, which seems to indicate the transmission cooler is there.
This thread has been very helpful, I ordered the Curt 14143 hitch and the Curt 56083 T-connector and installed both myself, fairly straight forward. But, the trailer lights don't work. I checked the fuse, the 30A one labeled "trailer lights" is there (#44 in the fuse box), but the one next to it (#43 labeled "trailer battery") was missing. I installed a 20A fuse but still no lights. I measured the signals on the 4-pin flat connector with a volt-meter, but there is nothing.
Since I have the towing preparation package, I should not need any additional hardware, correct ? I am wondering though, if I need the control module. I checked the passenger side trunk, where the module is supposed to be, i removed the tray and the panel, but can't find a module. I may be looking at the wrong place, but it is not that crowded as I was expecting from other people's post, I only saw one connected cable there, going through a grommet on the trunk floor, see photo1. Then under the tail light assembly, I did find a connector, which has nothing connected to it, is this the one that the control module should be, see photo2 ? It was wrapped to some foam padding.
Any help would be appreciated. If I am missing the control module, I'm planning to order the part 118255 as the others here have done.

I found from another thread this super helpful document on how to access the control module connector behind the wall panel and carpeting, the instructions were spot on and helped me a ton. My hands didn't fit behind the panel and I could not have connected and secured the module without being able to go behind the panel. Hopefully this doc will help somebody else in similar situation.

2013 RX350 FWD with tow prep package
In case others may find this useful. My 2013 with towing prep package did have the power converter module (even though the Lexus dealer said it would not). Plugging in the pigtail to the connector at rear bumper driver side still gave no power to the trailer flat 4-wire connector due to grounding. I had to install a ground to vehicle wire, and join it to the white ground wire in the pigtail to get power to the trailer. The new painted hitch also wasn't passing ground through the receiver and ball to the trailer.

Lead Lap
Does that also apply to a 2013 RXh w/Tow Package?
And - any info on adding a trailer brake controller and necessary cable to the trailer ( I've added the Curt Hitch and cable; and/but hadn't checked for power yet (D'Oh!).

2015 RX350 with new Curt hitch.
Just put on a Curt hitch on the wife's 2015 RX350. Had a local speed shop install it and they charged me one hour of labor. So I have about $250 in it plus $15 for the wiring adapter. Very nice!

Also hoping to see some pictures of the OEM hitch installed next to aftermarket...For 2nd gen RX the OEM hitch is much better cleaner looking setup

Trailer Wiring
hello all.
I have a 2013 RX350 TOURING PKG.
I was wondering if I have a pre wiring for a trailer hitch. If so, where do I find it? ( I heard underbody the back area or where inside truck/spare tire surrounding area .
I would like to install a trailer hitch for a bike rack ( I know I don't need wiring for that, but just in case I like to tow one day)
thanks
