OH WOW!!! thank you so much!!! Pictures would be incredible!! Could you possible take a picture of the HUD with the defrost panel garnish (next to the windshield removed. On my car it just pops up and is secured by clips. Use plastic tools however not to scratch your dash. This is the small panel that has the defrost grill in and light sensor lens on the far rt hand side. Be careful when taking it out as the wire to the sensor will be connected but there is some play in it. I just need to see what the connector looks like going into the HUD unit and where the wire comes from. I just cannot discern where that wire is coming from??? You may have to take the picture through the windshield with the garnish removed. Also a picture of the defrost panel garnish with the unit in place with the defrost garnish in place. I will have to order me a new garnish with the hole in it that will accept the HUD unit. Again this is great and I appreciate this sooooo much!!! Tim
Well, I thought I posted 10 minutes ago but don't see it.....
Anyways, took off the dash bezel and got a few shots. Unfortunately, I don't see a logical or easy way of accessing the HUD display itself. Looks like it got installed first and then the rest of the dash...just don't know.
Here are some pics of the top side and as you can see, there's a lip that runs around the HUD unit. Didn't move much either.
OK, found my error! Posting too much today....ended up posting Lexus pics over on the CK5 (Full Size Blazer forum)!
Anyways, here is the underside with some wiring shots. Maybe you can decipher where they go. Just hard to get to and don't really know what I'm shooting.
Thank you sooo much, I really appreciate what you did and to be honest there is probably not a good way to access the wiring to get a look at what it looks like! I tried putting in an inspection camera into the hole on my car but to no avail. I will just keep searching. You have been great and I will let you know if I find out anything else.
