Default Canadian owners, how much did you pay for 32000km service?

hi folks,

I am up at 31000km now and have received quote from my local dealer for my next service (32000km) which will also include a brake flush. The price is well above $600 with tax. I wonder if that is the right. My dealer had charged me $120 more than other dealer at the 16000km service and they had refund the difference after I found out. I want to do my homework before handing those cash to them this time.

what's your thoughts?

Suggest you go to a local Toyota dealer and have them price out your required service. You can install your own air filter and cabin air filter. Also they change the battery in your keyfob, which you can do yourself . I'll bet you can save at least $300.00 by having it done at a Toyota dealer.
Good luck !

Thanks for your reply, really appreciate that. My local toyota dealer is owned by the same person/company which also owns the Lexus dealer and the worst thing is they are sharing the same building. That pretty much eliminate the chance for me to get works done at toyota price tag. My next nearest option will be 1 hr drive away from our home. Looks like I am running out of luck this time.

If you save $300 or so it will be an enjoyable ride. We had a 2001 RX and after the first free service, it never saw the inside of the Lexus dealership unless it was for warranty work. It went straight to Toyota for less than half the cost. Of course, free pastry is out of the question, so pack your own.
