Help, please!!

I am having issues with my Navi system and Phone capabilities. At random times (more often than not), I am unable to enter data into the nav system because certain options are 'greyed' out. This also occurs when I want to use the 'mouse' to make phone calls.

For example:
When I go to 'Set Up', I am unable to choose the Navigation or Phone options because they are 'greyed out' and I am unable to click on them.

I purchased this vehicle a month ago and all is great with this being the exception. Please help. Thanks!!


I also wanted to add that when the system does allow me to enter info, at any time during operation, the 'buttons' will become greyed out and unable to use.

Must be new to Lexus with Navi. when options are "grayed" certain conditionals are not met [feature]. you wont' be able to do much of "navi" while vehicle is in motion or out of P. some vehicle customization feature(s) only works with engine swtich in "on" etc. time to read those OM and welcome to Lexus family.
