Default Has anyone gotten touch up for '13 wheels from the guy on club lexus??

I know he has supplied a lot of color touch ups to people and had mentioned doing a touch u p for our wheels. I got a scratch from a car wash that was an old car wash and the idiot let my left front hit it and scratch it.
The guy in the thread says to take a pic and he will match it; but photos are so misleading; and I know he did some for someone last summer but can't find in his thread???? I know Lesus won't have it! I don't want to replace a $500 wheel?? Thanks for any help.

Interesting problem. If you figure it out, please post solution. I would get in contact with Lexus just to confirm that they can not give you the paint code.

There are many companies around that will refinish your wheels and they will look like brand new. I had the wheels on my 2008 Cadillac CTS done by a company called Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists for around $100 each and they are perfect. Look them up on the INTERNET an find a location near you. There are also others that do the same. Allow Wheel Repair Specialists will come to your location to do the job. Great if you work.

I just asked the same question to the vendor's rep., here on this site.
Local dealer has no access to the correct colour. Local retail outlets have dozens of different silvers.
Sounds like it would be a great seller if the colour is right.

Yes; the Vendor/Sponsor on here, Genicolor, offered to try to match from a picture but I am afraid colors vary too much to photograph. He offers touch up pens for $10 for any Lexus color; and I thought he had said he might drive by a dealer and see one once, but apparently not.
It is just a few scrapes so I don't want to "recoat" the wheel, and I don't think most could do it anyway yet; too new!

Member posted on another thread about a match. Recommended Honda Starlight Silver.
Cannot verify exactly which rims this matches but for $7.00 locally I'll try it.

I think that is for the old wheels; the Superchrome of the '13's is darker !!!

Didn't realize the '13 wheels were darker. Still, @ $7.00, not out a great deal.

Yes, it is going to be a headache as the regular wheels like mine are Superchrome and kind of a titanium color, than the "F" Sport have aneven DARKER Titanium color!! All the older Lexus had basically that silver or aluminum color or that color was Chromed!! The Chrome being the basic chrome used for many years!!
