Ahh, but the RX has a lot more goodies on it than a Highlander, such as power tilt/telescopic steering wheel, memory seats, memory mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, auto-high beams, adaptive forward lighting(on 2010 thru 2012 models, anyway)

As far as loaner cars go, in my over six years of driving an RX('07 and '10), my loaners have been mostly RX350's, with one or two IS250 loaners, an RX400h loaner, and an ES350 loaner.

So far I have gotten IS250, RX350 and CT200h. My dealer also offers ES350 and GS350, so I will be asking for them on my future visits.

Got mine at Bobby Rahal Lexus and they always bring me a 450h when they come to pick up mine. I never asked but I just assumed that they bring me a 450h because that is what I already have.

I've had the IS, ES, HS, and RX over the years.

My sales guy will let me take home a GS for a few days. It's not the same dealer where I bought my RXs.

Maybe I should ask for the LFA they have instead

At all the stores I've been to in NY, I've gotten either an RX, CT, HS, ES or IS250AWD. Never a GS, LS, LX, or GX.

RX, IS and ES is what's given here, but it's usually RX.

Mostly I get an RX 350...never actually requested anything. Once or twice I got an ES 350. Now that I see some folks are grabbing a GS I'm going to request one next time!

I have a high mileage RX 350 and usually get a new RX 350 as a loaner. I once got a ES 350 with 600 plus miles on the odometer and when I picked up my car there was a brochure for the new RX laying in the seat next to me.

I have an RX and have always been loaned the newest ES 350. Last time I had it in for service they kept it for a month (radio issue). I started out with an ES and then 2 weeks into it I requested an RX. I had a flight with my family and was concerned that I could not fit all of the luggage in the ES. They simply asked me to come in and swap out the ES for the RX. I parked the loaner RX at the airport for a week.

So far I have gotten two 2012 ES350's, a 2013 IS250 AWD and a 2013 RX450H. Currently, I'm at just over 3k miles on the RX. Not a fan of the hybrid.

At Lexus of Colorado Springs back in May i dropped off my RX (recently bought, used) for routine service and they gave me a brand new 2013 GS. My jaw literally dropped. I was tempted to sell my RX to them and take it but the price tag was way too high.

I need to drop off my RX again this Saturday at the Lexus in Lakewood to get my front differential replaced and I'm hoping they'll give me an RX since I'm planning on going up to the mountains while they work on it.
