Just did mine a few days back. I only had to remove the battery, annoying plastic engine bay covers, the snorkel (three 10mm bolts) and air box (two 2mm bolts outside of box). Good time to also clean the MAF. Unbolt it from the box and get some good shots at it with some MAF/Sensor cleaner.

how were you able unbolt the maf without removing the wiper cowl? The angle of the crews are towards the firewall, not sure how to get a screwdriver on those screws.

Cleaned the throttle body today. First time in 145k miles and a fair amount of dark black color was left on the microfiber towel which was sprayed liberally with the CRC throttle body cleaner. I removed the snorkel that goes to the air filter body and removed the two bolts in the air filter to give myself an extra 1-2 inches to move it to the right. Loosened both clamps on the tube which were heavily seized and needed penetrating oil to move them. Took a bit of wiggling and eventually with the tube out of the way, had an easy access to the throttle body and went at cleaning it, being very gentle with the butterfly plate. Also had the negative terminal of the battery disconnected. After driving, the slight hesitation when coasting at low speeds and hitting the throttle gently has been cured for! Definitely feel good about doing this and felt no need to clean the MAF sensor.
