I personally wouldnt pay more than $32K, but Lexus is hard to negotitate with, you will probably end up paying about $33500

Maybe you could find one with less miles for that price! Also check the manufacture date you don't want the first built ones as they made tweaks.

I noticed it's an '11, not a '10 so that'll mean maybe an extra year on the warranty. Price is similar to what low mileage, non-nav equipped RXs are going for on this side of the Hudson. You should be able to get a few more dollars off. BTW, I like the color combo Good luck tomorrow.

Kitlz,
Thanks for the correction its indeed an 11.
I test drove it and sat down and told them I will take it for 32K out the door. They said no. Final price was $33,988. I guess I will keep looking, these guys are really hard to talk too lol.

It's hit or miss with car dealers. Our first experience with a Lexus dealer was terrible. Sat down to discuss a 2010 RX 350 and they wouldn't budge off the price their had posted on the car. Sales manager came over and acted like we insulted him by offering less than their "True Price". Said he would knock a couple hundred off the price as a courtesy. We were floored with the used car tactics at a Lexus dealership. I monitored this vehicle on their website over the next few weeks as they dropped the price $500, then $1000, then $1500 to the point where they were just a few hundred off the price me and my wife agreed was our settling point. Who knows what they really ended up selling it for., probably less than we would have given them.

Good news is there are other dealers, and a lot in the SF Bay Area where we were for Thanksgiving. We found a better car, far less miles, more options and a dealer who was willing to negotiate and a salesman who didn't bring over the sales manager like we were at a Hyundai dealership. We got the Lexus dealership experience we expected. Too bad they all aren't run the same.

Keep trying and good luck finding a car and deal that fits your needs.

Well, the good news is there are plenty of dealers in the area. You're bound to find a similarly equipped RX. Plus it's almost the end of the month. Good luck in your search.

I got the same thing from the Lexus in Springfield and Hartford. I ended up buying the car from a Mercedes dealer for $5K less than what they were asking for at the other dealerships

Whats mileage? If it's less than 30K, thats not bad for AWD certified.

Guess it wasn't meant to be. You're bound to find another one, maybe even better than the '11. Keep us posted.
