Default Cold weather stiffer ride?

Hello all, not sure if it is my head playing trick or not. I notice my RX350 ride is a lot stiffer at night where outside temp is between high 30s to low 40s at Bay Area, CA lately. During midday where outside temp is at 50s or above, ride feels a lot more normal. Any similar experience?

It might just be your head playing tricks. As the temps cool, the tire pressure lowers which in theory should produce a softer ride.

Also have to consider the rubber will be harder, and the rest of the suspension components will be less flexible. Although at near freezing its probably barely noticeable. Get down well below freezing, you can feel running over a piece of paper.

Ok, slightly exaggerated.

Not exaggerated by much though....the seats are stiffer below zero, too.

And the shock absorber/strut fluid gets thicker and flows slower until it warms up.
