Read the sticky tire thread at the top of the main RX350 page. Many brands and models of tires are discussed. You can also read recommendations and tire reviews at www.tirerack.com Or just get the General Altimax.

Or else if you are a Costco member, you can get deals with tires on sale, either Michelins or Bridgestones. Can not go wrong with either. I am partial with Bridgestones (less cost).

I tried the Yokohama's AS ( forgot which model) and it did not have traction in wet we were used to.

We now have Michelin Premier LTX AS and found to be excellent.

BTW, we have 19 factory wheels on our RX450h due to the F Sport appearance option

Thank you for the great input. I did go to the thread and it too was helpful. I will check out current reviews for the Pirelli Scorpion Verde, and the others. Long lasting, good all season (snow and wet) and stability are all important. I live in VA, so real winters. I am willing to pay a few dollars more, in part because I am not as sophisticated about cars as I was when I drove British sports cars.

Default Michelin Premier LTX DT / TPMS replacement

A few days after the tire installation, the low tire pressure light came on. America's Tire rep. used his gizmo to check the tire pressure sensors and one came up bad. He said they fail at around 8-10 years, so I had them install four new ones at $257 OTD.
BTW, I like the tires. Good grip in the rain, quiet on the freeway.

Default New Tires for RX 350 2010

My tires are due for replacement and last time I got Michelin Latitude Tour HP at Costco.

Any reason I should try another brand or style this time?

I'm not terribly versed in tires and haven't bought for 6 years. I don't do a lot of daily driving but do take long road trips with the car when in town.

i don’t know if these would be an improvement for you but I purchased these based on a lot of research and reviews. So far I am very happy with them.

It got Michelin Defenders installed Saturday at Costco (they were having a sale). So far so good!

I got the Michelin Premier LTX deep tread installed on 01/02 (Costco had $150 off online orders on New Years Day, got them installed next day). I paid $868.35 out the door. Previously i had Sumitomo on my 2010 RX350 AWD and hated them! I absolutely love these tires. The Premier LTX tire now has a deeper tread, giving it longer tread life (60K mile warranty). I believe Costco still has these going for $110 off. I would highly recommend these tires! They're great in the snow here in Utah and are absolutely the quietest tire I've had.

That's cheap for labor and sensors. Do you know the brand of sensor?

Default H vs V speed rating tires on RX350

Hello all,
My question concerns speed rating of tires for the RX 350. My 2015 RX350 non-F sport has 101V speed rating tires on it. Is it safe to run H rated tires on the car instead given that it is an SUV? Will I sacrifice handling? The car is used to commute on I-95 about 60 miles everyday so I want it to be safe. Thank you.

You will regret going with H rated tires. I always go with V rated on the RX. I have a 2010 RX350 AWD, and at one point got H rated, but ended up changing them out for V rated. Better handling and performance all around. I'm not sure how other people feel, but with top heavier vehicles, it's always safer to go with V rated tires IMO.

How are these holding up still?

My RX350 came with Uniroyal tires that seem to do decent. I was curious what the Falkens look like on the RX since its not really an off-road SUV. Do you have any photos? On my GX470 i had BFG TA KO2's and they were great - that thing was a tank in the snow and i never got stuck.

So is there a general consensus for the "best" tires to get?

I drive a 2014 Lexus Rx350 with 19inch wheels. I am looking to purchase new tires that maximize comfort, can grip well in the rain, and doesn't produce excess road noise as I daily drive my vehicle!

I continue to believe that the best bang-for-the-buck all-season SUV tire is the General Altimax RT43. I put a set of them on my 2013 Subaru Outback 3.6R in early December 2016 and they are still in great shape after about 21,000 miles (a 50/50 mix of highway/city driving). Great rain traction (they have never hydroplaned), great snow traction, quiet, straight-tracking, and a 70,000-mile treadwear warranty from Discount Tire. When the mediocre Kumho Solus KL21 tires on my wife's 2015 RX350 wear out, it will be getting a set of the Altimax RT43 tires as well. You can choose between the H-rated version and the V-rated version. I went with the H-rated version for longer treadlife and the fact that SUVs are not performance vehicles and typically do not benefit from having V-rated tires installed.
