Do you get high speed 65+ mph vibration with your Defender LTX? I am still struggling with mine after a couple thousand miles. My seat and steering wheel vibrate after 65mph which was not occurring with the Michelin Premier LTX I just took off. I even just replaced my brake rotors, pads, and caliper hardware with Napa Ultra Premium to rule that out. Tirerack is offering to help me with swapping out these tires for new set but I really don't feel its fair for me to incur the installation expense.

The Pirelli Scorpions came with my 2013 that I bought used 2 yrs ago. They were close to new at that time.
I've put approx 15K miles on them since.
They handle well but are noisy IMO - and getting much louder now.
I recently thought I had wheel bearing issues - they are that loud - but the bearings are fine.
Sincerely hope you have better luck with yours - I've heard good and bad on this tire so who knows.
I'm getting ready to mount my winter Michelin's and will be buying the same brand all season in the spring 2023.

Discount Tire has a $70 rebate on the Continental CrossContact LX25 101H-rated tire through August 31st. After doing my research, I will replace the Kumho Solus KL21 tires that came new on my wife's 2015 RX350 when we purchased it in late October 2018 with a set of these Contis next week. I was planning to go with a set of General Altimax RT43 tires, but the Contis come with a better treadwear warranty (70,000 miles vs. 65,000 miles). I have a copy of the Kumho tires receipt from the local indie car dealership we purchased the vehicle from - these Kumhos also came from Discount Tire so I will be getting a pro-rated credit towards the new Contis. The Kumhos came with a 60,000-mile treadwear warranty. They are just about done at 48,500 miles so that 11,500 miles of pro-rated credit will help. The $70 rebate makes the Contis a better deal right now than the Generals, as does the longer treadwear warranty.
Update:
I ordered a set of these Continental tires this morning (8/19/22) at my local Discount Tire store, size 235/55/19 in the 101H load rating with a 70,000-mile treadwear warranty. With the pro-rated credit applied from the vehicle's existing set of Kumho tires and the $70 Visa rebate card deal from Continental, my out-the-door cost will be $830. Considering how much tire prices have escalated during the pandemic, I can live with that. The new tires should arrive early next week.
Second Update:
I just discovered that these tires come with a free 3-year 24/7 roadside assistance program once you register your new tires on the Continental Tire website. This RX350 is my wife's daily driver and this extra coverage could prove to be valuable during her monthly solo trips from North Carolina to Georgia and back to visit family.

I'll be putting the Generals on my 06 Highlander next month.

Yep, I really like the Continentals on my wife's 2015 RX350 after having them on for about a month now. And I still really like the Generals on my 2013 Outback 3.6R Limited (installed in December 2016 and still looking almost new). I believe any RX would be just fine with either of these tire models.

I just put Continental Crosscontact LX25 V Rated on my '10 RX350 and could not be happier. Super smooth at 80+ mph on highway, very quiet, good mpg, and the bead protection sidewall looks very nice and sporty for touring all season. I had a somewhat disastrous experience with new Michelin Defender LTX. I may have gotten a bad tire but I would not recommend Michelin Defender LTX to anyone for RX if driving on highway regularly. Tirerack is refunding me for the Michelins. The Michelins all road-force tested within the threshold but would not stop vibrating the car at 65+ mph. Continentals went on and problem instantly resolved.

Tire sidewalls always have the country of origin stamped into them along with a 4-digit date code indicating the week and year they were made. For instance, 1622 indicates the 16th week of 2022. Tires typically lose considerable pliability after two to three years so most tire experts recommend not purchasing tires that show a build date older than 24 months.

This vehicle has 19-inch wheels. I stuck with the recommended 235/55/19 tire size. Continental Tire is based in Germany and they manufacture tires in various countries all around the world.
I installed a set of Barum Bravuris 5HM tires on my wife's 2006 Jaguar XK8 Victory Edition convertible back in January. Barum Tire is owned by Continental and makes these tires exclusively for Discount Tire. The front tires (size 245/40/19) were made in Slovakia. The rear tires (size 255/40/19) were made here in the U.S.
General Tire is also owned by Continental.
When I had my beloved and still-missed 1974 Datsun 260Z from late 1974 until I sold it in the summer of 1987, I ran nothing but Michelin X radials on that vehicle. The longest-lasting set of those tires on that car was made in Spain.

Good to see people have positive experience with Continental tires since I actually work under that company but not tires ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Anyway, I picked up a 2010 couple weeks ago with 19" wheel. Last owner put kumho crugen hp71 few months ago. Wonder if anyone has experience. So far, it seems to be pretty good IMO
