I could live without the flap, if they could make it stop rattling. It's been a noise maker (the ONLY one!) in three different RXs whether open or closed. Have I just been that unlucky?

Get tint applied to all the back privacy glasses like I did. I got 15% tint applied over the glass which brought the percentage down to 5% just like what limos have. It's dark and no one can see in plus nosy ppl can't see who and what I'm carrying. Love it. I also use my cover because I carry valuable things from time to time and it just adds more protection. Btw I have a 2010 so I have the flaps.

Default Security problem

I just bought an 2015 RX 450h and I noticed that the small triangular windows in the rear allow you to look under the cargo cover, even when it is closed. There were flaps that attached to the rear seat headrestsand prevented this, but they were removed to prevent rattles. How do I prevent people from looking through the small triangular windows and seeing my cargo?

Welcome to CL.

The simplest and cheapest way to do it is simply toss a blanket or sheet over whatever you have in the cargo area. Oldest trick in the book.

That would work except that the pile of stuff under the blanket would alert somebody to the presence of stuff in the cargo area. That is something I would like to avoid.

thank you for the welcome.

Maybe a dark tint on the windows?

Make sure the back seats are in the rearmost position, then you can also recline the back so this should pretty much block the view, along with covering as was previously stated. Use a black towel, it is pretty indistinguishable with the factory tint on the window.

If it really bothers you, I bet you could find one of the old ones with the flaps on ebay or craigslist.

I have moved back and reclined the seats as much as I can I believe no there is still a couple of inches to look through.
Definatly a design defect, but a small one.

I doubt if anybody would go after me for tinting those windows, they are very small and hardly useful

The real question is why you live in a place where the pastime is people looking through your car windows? Kind of sketch, time to move to the next town over.
