Hi Guys, I'm new here.
I currently living in the northwest, Seattle to be exact, and looking to buy a 2010 RX350 AWD. Currently I'm looking at this car has about 29k miles and the dealer wants 32k for it. I offered 30k and it looks like they are not willing to meet my offer. The car has few swirls/scratches on the door, and a scratch on the rear bumper. The car does not come equip with navigation. Basically it only has the premium package, including the back up camera on the rear mirror. The good thing about this is it's a local own, 1 owner, and it has been serviced every 5k miles, per carfax record. It still have the original tiers on it, which has about 1/2 of the tread left and the wheels has few scratches on them.
Currently, many dealers around listing absurd price for the 2010 RX350, something like 37k for a 50k miles, and there aren't many with under 30k miles, which make the negotiating process some what difficult. I'm not in a hurry to get this, but I think my offer is reasonable, what do you think?
thank you for the reply.

If this helps: A couple of months ago I bought a very similar RX in PA (except it was a CPO). They had a number of them all around $34k with around 32k miles on them. The price dropped to $28k with the trade-in of my 2000 RX300 with 178k on it. I left very happy. Prices sound higher in your area.

Bought mine last year, sounds like the same car, same condition. Needed tires & one bumper repaint. 26K km, about 16K miles.
Write an offer down on the car with new tires & split the bumper repaint. Ours was $900.00 + the taxes. Attach 10% down to the offer. Cash always works.
They want to move it but how long do they want to wait for an extra $1000 or more.

I just bought my RX at the end of April (in NJ). There's a long thread on this but here are my cliff notes:
** 2010 RX350 Starfire Pearl (grey interior), CPO, 34k miles, Premium Package, Comfort Package, prestine interior. Car was listed for $32,995 at Prestige Lexus Ramsey, NJ.
** Negotiated the price down to $31.8K by presenting them a printout and service history of a comparable from Lexus of Whippany. I fabricated a few things by saying things like "I can call Whippany Lexus right now and they're willing to negotiate below $32k" (which they weren't but what do they know) and telling them that the residual value of the car coming off a 3 yr 36k lease => 59% of MSRP is $28.3k so you must have plenty of room.
Here's the thread which has a lot of good info on 2010 CPO RX negotiation (or lack thereof):
