Leather issue on ventilated front seats
Hey all,
I've had my RX for about 3 months now. I just noticed that both front seats have slightly dark impressions that correspond to the vent holes of the ventilation system of the seat. I am not referring to the perforation of the leather. If I run my finger over those spots, I can feel a slight dip. I notice this on the seat portion and the back support portion of the leather seats. If it gets more sunny I'll grab a pic! It's really noticeable under direct sunlight. I was at the dealership today and don't see it on any of their showroom cars. Heck, my older IS 350 doesn't have that (even with ventilated front seats). Just wondering if anyone else noticed this.
Thanks!

There definitely seems to be some type of pattern. As BertL mentioned, I'd show it to the dealer and explain you have no corresponding spots on your back. Those definitely should not be there. And for 2106, if yours are the same I'd go in as well. Maybe the two of you should stay in communication with each other. My 2010 has the light beige interior and it still looks new.

I do not have this problem on my nearly 15-month old 2013 with parchment semi-aniline leather.
I would suggest the OP and future posters be specific in MY, color and leather type (semi-aniline or not) so we can try to help with any pattern here.

Its not an "issue" as such. Its normal and its on every RX F Sport I have seen. Its even on the RX F Sport with the red leather. Its to do with the heating and ventilating system itself and is not a flaw, its designed to be there
