I just kept looking out the bedroom window admiring it sitting in the driveway...only had it a couple of weeks! Do you guys remember when you got your first Lexus? The feeling you had for weeks after....I'm tearing up here!
LOL! I love my Lexus! ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

JDR76,
Both cars look beautiful. You guys (and Anita) just amaze me. I don't think that I'd have the energy to clean and detail my car like you do. On the otherhand, I tried to clean the outgassing film off the interior window with Ammonia free Windex yesterday only to make it worse. I'll try the Sprayway glass cleaner in a can this weekend (since we bought a case of it for our bathroom shower/tub clear glass enclosures).

I know exactly how you feel as my car is only two months old today (and covered with pollen after the rains last week).
Was more in shock when we first bought it because I wrote the check for it, but have gotten more excited as time goes on. Have learned so much from CL and have put some of it to use, e.g. running it in Hybrid Snow Mode in the city on dry payment increases gas mileage (we had it up to 31 mpg the other day).

Thank you Cheryl. I also use the Sprayway Glass Cleaner and it works great.

Great job on the IS, JDR76. Looks great too. There's nothing better than having nice clean cars. Which reminds me, time to head out and do mine. It's seen better days.

Mine has just been treated to a wash and the tyres/plastic dressed. Took 2 hours just for a wash! It was under so much grime from recent motorway trips.

And you WILL love not being at the service bay except for routine scheduled maintenance.
Something that i have appreciated after owning Audi and Land Rovers.

I saw 2 different types of Lexus metal pedals on ebay. One is 3 pieces and the other is 4 pieces. I like the 3-piece style and installed it today. ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Gave the car a little wash today for the first time! Can't have a dirty car for our first road trip!

It was amazing how many towels we used for drying. We need to go with that air compressor method to blow off a lot of the excess water.
