Default Anybody use Fumoto valve?

I bought a Fumoto valve (F103)( for my '99 and will be putting it on on the next oil change. Anybody using it and is there any issue? I am not expecting any problem. I have it on my other car and will also put it on the third one (I am not associated with Fumoto valves whatsoever). I just find that this product makes oil changes much easier and less messy for those who change their own oil and filter. If you take your car to a shop/dealer for the job, forget it.

I've used one on another vehicle for over 10 years. I think they are great. I will probably get one for the RX since my free oil changes are now a thing of the past.

Can you attach an oil extractor to the drain pipe that attaches to the oil filter and suck out all your oil through there?

i had considered one, and then considered against it (they are not necessarily 'lowered car friendly, more prone to damage/disability than a regular plug.)

but for a vehicle such as yours, i wouldNT advise against it. never heard anything bad about them

There are a lot of reviews on Amazon that talk about slowing down the oil draining process and also that the valve extends into the oil pan, leaving a lot of oil in your car.

Since our cars only need oil changes every 10k, I think I will stick to disposable plastic gloves and the mess involved with the stock drain plug. Wasteful, but I also run a half-quart through the engine after draining to clear out as much used oil and sediment as possible.

There are many people on BITOG who use Fumoto valves, and swear by them.

I use one on my S2000 & I love it! No need for me to jack up my car to do an oil change anymore!
