Default Faulty connection on tailights - 2010 RX 450H

G'Day Guys,

First post.

I have a 2010 RX450H and recently I've noticed the inner tailights (the portion that is stuck on the boot door) fails to light up when the headlights are switched on. At times I give it a nudge and it seems to work again. I'm guessing its a loose connector somewhere. Is this something I can fix myself? I tried look at the boot door but couldn't figure out how to get to the tailights. Is it even worth my trouble to attempt fixing it myself or should I send it in to the dealer to have it looked it (hassle which I hope to avoid).

Thanks in advance!

Mal

there should be a cover you can take off and see if its a loose connection.

So far it looks like it's a complete farbci back cover which I'm hesitant to remove just to reach the lights. I'll try and pry around further. Thanks.
