Question question: replace new rearview mirror by delaer within warranty

The rearview mirrors of my RX 450H are defect, and dealer is going to replace them with new ones.
My RX is still under warranty, so I don't have to pay anything.

I have a question: Is it possible if Iask dealer to install newer model with blind spot and I pay the different price?

Thanks.

No, there is more to the blind spot monitoring system than just the mirrors. There are radar emitters and antennas built into the rear bumper, and probably other changes as well.

Yeah, like Konradsa mentioned, its not just a matter of switching mirrors. There is alot more then that. BTW i had the dealer replace one of my outside mirrors too. Mine rattled when i would close the door.
