your input please
1. Went to see a black 2014 RX in their inventory- includes nav/comfort/premium package- MSRP of $ 49 K, they offered $ 4 K discount , so $ 45 K plus tax (texas) / doc /etc ends up $ 48,500, is that a good deal?
2. should I wait for 2015 model which will be out in april if I will end up paying the same price for the same features? I know there will be less discount for 2015 models
3. any reco for dealer? san Antonio here

I paid $41200 (includes destination and does not include tax/tag/dealer fee of 200) in the north east tri state area for the same configuration of a new 2014 RX 350. AWD, Navigation, Comfort, Premium with bsm, Preferred, Wood steering wheel, Parking assist, Michelins and other standard features. MSRP: 50030. I think I got 14% off invoice and a 9k discount approx. on msrp. I had two dealers who were close to these numbers. You should request more discount.

If you research truecar.com, the 'national' best was somewhere around 9%. However, many people don't record their sale on true car and so the 9% is not a holistic picture but if this minimal data on true car is quoting the best as 9% approximately, your information of 5% from responses here might be inaccurate and the realistic picture if all data was there should be more than 9% logically speaking.
You can expand your radius on the internet. Its not at all uncommon for a Lexus salesman to drive down to your home 200 miles away for delivery as they will fax you the paperwork ahead of time for signatures and after the paperwork is over, they will deliver the car to you in person if they gave you the best quote for this 50k car. I know two stories like this from the salesman when I went for a test drive locally.

hey guys quick question..financed with lexus and the finance guy told me that he recommends waiting until 6 months before paying off the car because if i were to pay off immediately it may hurt credit score...? i thought to my self wtfm sounds like a scheme to get interest but i wanted to get your opinions.

You can refi anytime. You can choose to use DCU to refinance to get 1.24% for 65 months (or 1.74% for 72 months) or any other finance company of your choice. You can refinance even before you make your first payment to LFS but for some reason everyone considers it a smoother transition to do it after your first payment. No prepayment penalty is involved with LFS. You can use your credit score simulator within identityguard.com/Costco or any other similar service provider to see if the refi will hurt your credit score or if this refi will increase your score.

looking at a '14 RX FWD no packages, though im pretty sure its gonna be tough to find. I've got 1 Lexus dealer within a 2000mi radius, so what they say pretty much goes. Any idea a good price with the '15s around the corning coming to dealers?

Thanks for all the insight everyone. I recently heard that the 2015 RXs are coming soon to Lexus dealers along with other automakers. Do they do anything special for the 2014s they have left?
