By showing the before picture, I think I see your vision with the black wheels. Although I would still not go darker than a graphite gray like on my F-Sport, your black wheels have grown on me somewhat. Perhaps we should reserve final judgement when the car and tires are all shined up.

Yeh i love F Sport wheels, i would buy them and replace my, but im not gonna hold to this RX for too long, maybe until next new years and then trade in for a new one so theres not point of throwing away money, dealer wont count them anyways. Since the weather seems to be better tomorrow and over the weekend ill hit the carwash in the morning and will post pics. At very least, they give car a bit different look, and you can peel it off if anything in under 10 mins, will get bored of black, take it off.

That's the beauty of it all, you don't have lots of money tied up in the wheels if you change your mind. Save it for the 4th gen I think they look good, definitely makes your RX stand out and I don't mean that in a bad way.

Don't you have to remove the tires before painting to do a proper job?

As long as you are experienced enough it'll do a good enough job most cant even tell if they the rims were done on or off the car

I like the look Yurka! I think the added gloss gives it better contrast. I've included a pic of my 2010 RX 350 with powder coated stock wheels, in a hyper gray finish. LMK what you think.

on the wheels. From this angle looks like a 2013-2015 since you changed the rear lights.

Thanks sw13gs! So far in California, I've yet to see another RX with powder coated stock wheels. I do have to say it is a bit of a hassle. Since I don't have an extra set of wheels, I was without my car for nearly a week.

Thanks corradoMR2! I just changed out the rear lights last week. I also changed out my rear emblem and chrome garnish.

Thanks Yurka! I like how the black finish came out on your wheels. Looks good against the white. It definitely gives it a totally different look. *What is more impressive is you did yours on your own. I had to send my wheels out.

corradoMR2: I just took a peek at your vehicles on another thread. AMAZING! I'm doing all these mods to make my 350 look like yours. All you have to do with your vehicles is keep them clean! Excellent choice on both vehicles and colors my friend!
