Default Grill bubbling

Got back from a three hundred mile trip and after washing the car I noticed that the chrome wrap on my 450h 2013 front grill is bubbling up anyone else with this problem? The last month temperatures have been around 10 degrees but no snow. Will take to dealer next time in Spokane.
But would like to know how to prevent this in the future
Thanks mike

thats pretty weird, i just had almost 900 mile trip, except for numerous bugs that hard to scratch off nothing abnormal with a car. Check it you with a local dealer, just in case.

Rock scratched the surface, moisture gets under and lift the chrome finish up, simple.

Looks like a simple defect.
I have a fleet of 2012-2013Chevy Captivas and Traverses, two of them have the same issue with the chrome on the grill "wrinkling". It was covered by warranty. No problem - but an inconvenience.

Some of the early 2010's had a defective logo on the lift gate. I had mine replaced twice and think Anita had her's replaced at least once. All under warranty.

Mike, you shouldn't have a problem. Keep us posted.

You're correct, David. I had the rear logo changed about 7 months in. I showed the dealer and a new one was ordered immediately, no questions asked. Mike, I'm sure your dealer will do the same. They might even know about it. Give them a call.
