Help with 2014 RX450h Lease
Hi.. my car got totaled recently and are deciding whether or not we should lease a 2014 RX450h. Would greatly appreciate input regarding over-the-phone quote from our dealer... really want it to be fair to all parties although I am having second thoughts since they are a bit shady saying they have the car in stock and when I asked for stock # & VIN #, they give it to me but of course it is nowhere to be found online or on their website. Just getting sooooo tired of being lied to and hubby is getting annoyed since we need to have car ASAP and I don't feel this deal is any good... What do you think?
MSRP w/options: $57,480
Negotiated price: $54,500
Lease Term: 10K miles/yr for 36 months at $707/month
Residual Value: $33,877.00
Money Factor: .00100
Fees + first month's payment: $2,283.00
Thanks so much in advance for all your help!

Can't help you with the lease portion because we paid cash for ours,
but we paid $53,285 for our MSRP of $57,185. They also included a coupon book
worth about $1000 of servicing as long as we owned the car.
Truecar.com says that one can do better (especially if you buy at the end of a month) but
we're ok with this since we bought at the beginning of January.
Hope this helps.

As for negotiated price, it really depends on dealer and their inventory. We tried really hard and was able to get 58100 down to 52500 last May in Northern CA. The deal was all done by emails. After we agreed on the price and I drive 50 miles to pick up the car.
The sales was saying "he is losing money to sell this car to me. Just bring more friends back to buy more cars" I was, sure whatever
I am not sure how many Lexus dealers around your area. You can just email around and ask for the best price before you walk-in.
Good luck!!

There is no lease incentive currently. Usually there is $1500 rebate to cover the fees. This is offer by Lexus finance, so has nothing to do with what dealer has offered.

BTW, if a dealer is giving you a bogus VIN, I would avoid them...sleazy way of doing business, IMO..

Pole Position
I 2nd the suggestion to get additional offers. Even call a dealer that's a little bit of a drive as over three years, it can be worth it.
