Odometer Issue
#3
^^^ Good point. However, if you rule that out:
Typically you will get a higher reading if the rolling diameter is smaller than what the speedometer/odometer was calibrated for, so if your tires are smaller for whatever reason, they will spin faster adding more miles than actual. This is highly unlikely since you have a '13 RX meaning you still have the OEM wheels/tires, unless you put aftermarket ones and downsized your tires' profile/overall diameter...
To run some tests and help isolate what's going on, if you have NAV, set a moderately long destination (at least 30-40 miles straight line like a highway ideally) and compare distance traveled on the Odometer to what the NAV calculated. If they're both the same, this would mean there should not be a problem, but if the odometer indicates a much higher distance, this may indicate a problem with the gyro sensor used for the speedometer/odometer.
Another test is to drive with another vehicle beside you at a pre-determined speed indicated by both your speedometers (i.e. 50 mph). See if you're both going the same actual speed (both aligned side-by-side) and if there's a discrepancy, again, this would point to a problem with the gyro sensor.

Good luck and keep us posted. This is an interesting one.

You may want to recalibrate your speedo:
1 Press the “MENU” button on the Remote Touch, then select “Setup”.
2 Select “Navigation” on the “Setup” screen.
3 Select “Detailed Navi. Settings” on the “Navigation Settings” screen.
4 Select “Calibration”

What makes you think the odo is not reading correctly?
Many highways sections are marked out with tenths of a mile signs useful for verifying accuracy. All freeways have posted mile markers, If you hit these sections note your odo and try to maintain a constant speed of 60 mph. (60 MPH = 1 mile/min) Check both your watch and your speedo and drive this section for few miles and you should have an accurate assessment of it's accuracy. You can also just ask your dealer do a check and calibrate as it is still under warranty.

It does happen, occasionally.
Our '05 Accord was part of a group of cars with incorrect readings, out by about 5%.
Didn't realize it until we received a letter from Honda.
They extended the 100K warranty items to 105K.
Fellow I knew in highschool "borrowed" his Dad's Torino once in a while.
You'd find him driving backwards in circles for hours, very early AM, in the mall parking lot.
Odometer was a mechanical linkage & had to get the miles off before Dad caught on.
