We are considering a move (not for several years) to Montana after we retire. There doesn't seem to be a Lexus dealer in Montana. We are looking at Kalispell which has a Toyota dealer. Would they be able to provide service for our RX450h? We love this car and hope to keep it for many years!

In agreement with Anita. However, as you have several years before this is a problem you will have plenty of time to determine if there are other solutions for your service needs. Toyota would be one such route. Call/write/email the nearest dealer in that area to see what they have to say. Also, contact Lexus Customer Service and talk to them about what you are thinking about doing. Perhaps they will allow the Toyota shop to perform any necessary warranty and recall work due to the lack of Lexus dealerships in the state. Am sure this topic has come up before in that region.

I wold be careful it you said you owned a RX350 I'd say it shouldn't be an issue. But since you own a Hybrid it might be difficult for the techs there to preform some services.

Thank you all for your helpful replies and suggestions. Yes we have the 450h (hybrid). We previously had a Camry which was a terrific car. The Lexus does have a considerable amount of complicated electronics (which we are still learning to use after having the car for over one year!) Of course, any relocation will not be for at least 7 years but I hope to still be driving this car. I love it too much to want a different car but will surely investigate the long-term maintenance concerns with Lexus before any move. Perhaps by then there will a Lexus dealer in Kalispell!

There is nothing specific to a hybrid that needs servicing. There is actually less to service compared to the rx350 over the years.
You only need a hybrid specialist if the hybrid battery needs replacing. This is still a rare occurrence - and Toyota or independents are more than capable of sourcing the parts and doing replacements.
In fact, regular oil and filter change is so easy you can do it yourself and save the hassle of having to drive to a dealer. Save time in the process

Guys - the OP has not posted on CL since 2015 and may not own this vehicle as it is 9 years later. They certainly will not see your comments. Just my 2 cents worth.
