Default Need some input on two features I can't find info on

In my 2013 ES 350 I can adjust both the driver and passenger temperature at the same time by hitting the dual zone button.

When changing lanes I flick the turn signal and get three blinks.

Are neither of these features on our new RX350?

Really bummed if not.

Dual Zone is discussed on page 320 of the Owner's Manual for your vehicle, as shown here:

http://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/do...30U/pdf/06.pdf

Turn signals on page 19 here:

http://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/do.../Topic04_U.pdf

Now, while the former should be helpful, I find the latter to be lacking. Therefore, I went and had a check to see what the 2013 ES350 had to say. Here it is on page 221:

http://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/do.../sec_04-02.pdf

The descriptions are similar on how to signal a lane change, however, the RX350 lacks the text describing the "three blinks."

Have a stab at these and come back to let us know what you find.

Got the dual zone sorted out.

Looks like the RX does not have the same turn signal functionality as the ES. Bummer.
It is a nice lane change feature.

Thanks,

John

Is there a difference between turn signal lever Type A and Type B?
I couldn't find any other than the OFF for the fog light operation.

Yes.
On the ES there is an intermediate step before actually locking the turn signal to blink
steady.

Short tap/release and you get three flashes. Enough for a quick lane change.

My 2013 Honda Civic have that feauture. ( like the ES)
The RX 350 don't.

Anyway, i don't believe you guys are missing a lot. So no worries.
The turn signal will cancel after 3 clicks, good for a Single and. Very quick lane change on the freeway.
However, i prefer the signal to be longer.

Most drivers signal ( some don't at all) AND change lane at the same time, which is dangerous if you ask me.
At least give ghe guys at the back some heads up if you'll be changing lane, before you actually change lane.

The problem, especially here in California is that BOTH the Left most lane ( lane No 1) and the right most lane ( lane No. 4/5/6) are used as passing lanes by mosr drivers.
So you really have to be careful, because faster drivers are coming on both direction.

So here's how i do it.
Signal first, wait 1-2 seconds and im double checking if the lane is truly Free
Change lane ( blinker still on) and then cancel the blinker.
Total of 3-4 seconds, longer if i have to go 2 or more lanes.
