Drop off the car and tell the dealer to call when they've fixed
the problem.

They're the ones at fault, right?

One of my McGuard wheel lock bolts stripped -- the dealer said it wasn't uncommon. If I'd had a flat, I probably would NOT have been able to get the wheel off! So, I just took off all the locking bolts -- if they don't last, what's the use? I have swapped snow tires on and off each of the past 6 years, always at the dealer.

I had issues with my wheel lock key being worn out and wheel locks being over-torqued.
Dealer broke the wheel locks loose and replaced them with regular lug bolts, at my request.
No charge.

Looks like those wheel locks are pretty much worthless. YouTube has several videos on how to defeat them. You can also buy Emergency removal tools on Amazon.

Yep. The only good thing they're for, is breaking off and causing a lot of headaches. With dealers over-torquing lug nuts, it's not uncommon. If they do break off, you can hammer-on a wrench socket and take them off that way.

Went to local Toyota dealer today and bought four lug nuts to replace the worthless wheel locks. Fourteen bucks and change well spent to prevent future problems on my new ride. Probably would have cost double @ the Lexus dealer.
