Newbie 2 questions on 13' rx 350
We bought 2013 RX 350 used 2 months ago and have following questions:
1) Is there an option to switch off navigation screen when we are not using Nav
2) Even sometime when we turn off A/ C by clicking "fan off" option it still blow lot of cold air, is there any other setting to disable A/C completely.
Thanks

1) I do not believe the screen can be turned off, partly because product planning geniuses integrated vital features, such as climate control, into the navigation unit.
2) Yes, you can turn off auto AC. However, you can switch AC off only by going through the menus. It can be extremely annoying in a climate that has mild weather.
Here is my venting thread:

Edit: The fan off button will turn off the AC and the fans.

1/Yes, you can turn the Display OFF. There are couple mouse click you have to do but I don't remember the exact step by step. I will look at the wife's RX350 and report back.
2/I am very sure the AC is OFF as you turn the Fan OFF. The Cold Air you are getting is probably from the air flowing by the AC cooling unit. Try to turn the air to Recir Mode and it should stop.
