How Many Keys Did You Get?
I have been teaching my elderly neighbor how to use the remote touch/ nav in her 2015 RX, and found that she was only given one key upon delivery in May. Is this the norm now? My 08 IS has two smart keys, just wondering if Lexus has changed that. Thanks.

Bought a '15 on Friday, two keys.
Those keys were never together that day so I could see how it could happen.
One key on the test drive, the other key went to the detail shop w/the car. Then the 'technology' guy has a key.
Papers signed and then the salesman has a key to roll the car into the showroom for the 'bow on top' photo op.
I left there four hours later with a bag of crap and remembering to be sure I eyeballed both keys.
One of the documents I signed actually stated "We Owe You Nothing".
Her owners manual wrap should have three business card slots inside, Salesman, 'Tech' guy, and the 24-hr roadside card.
I believe it was the tech guy that handed over the keys after I got my training.
I think the tech guy got me to sign off on a checklist that had '2 keys' on it.
He may have it on his desk and no idea who it belongs to.
I'm elderly too and all I know is I walked in there reasonably happy and walked out wearing a barrel with two straps.

Minimum 2 key fobs and depending on whether your neighbor got the top-level package(s), + 1 wallet key such as with the F-Sport up here in Canada.
The last one like LeoDLion mentioned is this spare key usually found in the owners's binder.

corrado, you pay a bit more than we do for our RXs here in the states so getting a credit card key is the least they can do. Interesting you received a Starbucks card too. What's the matter, dealer coffee not good? LOL!
BrooksIS, is your neighbor positive the dealer only gave her one key? Maybe it's mixed up with the paperwork. I can't remember how I received mine but I made sure I put the second one away in a safe place when I got home. Have her check her paperwork anyway for the delivery checklist. I believe the fobs are part of the process.

When I took delivery of my 2011 RX 350, dealer only had one smart key because they lost the other one during the vehicle transfer from another Lexus dealer to my dealer. My dealer made another key for me to pick up a week later and also gave me a coupon for free oil change to make up my inconvenience.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I just got off the phone with her salesman (who happens to be the man that sold me my IS and my mothers GX...) and he informed me that yes, he still has her second key sitting on his desk. One month later. He "has been meaning to call her". Well that's great customer service!
