Rotor and brake pads
Can somebody advise me if I should buy original rotor and original brake pads or as per my mechanic buy after market rotor and original brake pads? Thanks in advance.

I can't speak specifically to the RX brakes (haven't had to replace them yet) but in the past I have bought OEM rotors and aftermarket pads, with good results.
If your mechanic has experience with good quality aftermarket parts, I would be willing to go for it and save the money.

I will stick with OEM, with clublexus discount from Sewell Lexus parts is no brainer for me, unless you are looking for high performance, I did have good results with brembo rotors with akebuno pads.

I second going with OEMs. I tried going the cheap(er) route for the rear rotors on my IS300 (Brembo blanks), and had to eat the cost of shipping them back when they didn't clear the backing plate. Ended up getting all OEM parts. Can't complain - they are very good.

I remember back in the day I had a chevy cavalier (hey at least it was re-branded a Toyota cavalier in japan)... I didn't need to replace the pads for 115000 miles. Lexus needs to infuse that sort of long life with performance.
