2013 RX350 F Sport
Hello All,
Eyeing up this RX350 F Sport with 18,000 miles on it. Couple of questions (I cannot find the manual on line)
- do they have an internal HD for MP3 music storage
- what is the EPA MPG for that year
- Any other input about that year for a $42K purchase price
Thanks!

The pursuit of F
Yeah 42K seems a little high and not because the dealer is asking too much, but because the resale (especially the "rare" F-Sport) is very high. I'd take it at 39K if it can be negotiated to that price, otherwise for 6-7K more than what they're wanting, I'd get a two-year newer '15 with the exact color combo you want. And note that this is the only year you can get the Cabernet Red interior exclusive to the F-Sport. All other years ('13 + '14) it's black only
- no MP3 storage. All based (and stored) on your external source. Playback via bluetooth or audio jack input in the console. Control of playback/playlist for some devices is only via the external device such as with my Note 2. I believe Apple products are much better integrated.
- mileage (EPA) 18/26 MPG . Sightly better than the 350 AWD 6-speed thanks to the 8-speed.
- '13 to '15, no differences mechanically. The only major difference visually is the Cabernet Red interior, "Lexus" wording in dark silver on the radio (vs gold), slightly different/indented Remote Touch controller ****, and LED fog lights on the '15. Other major feature difference is Siri now present on the 2015.

What to look out for:
- Minor issue is a rear seat rattle and a B-pillar ticking sound which is fixable by having the dealer tighten the door/latch or other means in a DIY in this forum. Very few have had these issues reported in this forum but since I'm OCD on noises, I find them. Besides these minor issues (repaired under warranty or myself), mechanically/electrically, my '13 F-Sport has been bullet-proof reliable. As with any used vehicle, just look out for any wear and tear items even if it's a CPO and if phone/device music streaming is important to you, bring it in and test it. In short, I've been very happy with the F-Sport and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a unique ride (only 10% of RX sales), with a sporty look and drive, flat cornering/body-roll, and a firmer ride. Good luck and keep us posted.
