Maintenance Reset

Maintenance Reset
I watched a YouTube video on how to reset the maintenance message. Holding "ODO" then hitting start without foot on the brake didn't work like it did in the 2010 model year video. Something different for 2014?

Seems that you missed the first step? as provided by Anita in another post
1- Display trip meter A, then turn power off.
2- While pressing the ODO/TRIP button, turn the power switch to on mode.
3- Keep the ODO/TRIP button pressed for about five seconds. Reset is complete when 000000 in the trip meter flashes once and the message in the multi-information display disappears.

ZMEL, you are da man! Thank you so much! Worked like a charm! The video I saw clearly said to be sure it was set to the full odometer miles (not Trip A or Trip B). Either it was wrong on the video or different in 2010. The video didn't actually show that part even though the narrator said to be sure it was on full miles. But it was an amateur, so who knows. Thank you very much. I skipped the 5000 mile service schlep to the dealer and had the tires rotated locally.
