Default Sun visor support

Does anyone know how to remove the driver's side sun visor support arm. I want to fabricate a bracket for the radar detector and will try to use this place for anchor point. I did one for my Ford pickup and want to do the same on the Lexus. I now have it mounted by suction cups above the mirror. Thanks. (Please don't suggest I mount it to mirror)

I probably should call it the sun visor rest bracket. It supports the right side of the visor on the drivers side. The Ford truck has a metal screw going up through it, but I haven't figured this one out yet. Guess I'll go to Toyota body shop for answer.

I just got it off. It is made in two pieces. Twist the lower part to the right and it comes out of the upper part. It has a stalk with lots of tabs and notches that lock into upper part when it's pushed straight back in. The upper part is held in by two tabs. The fit is too close for me to put a thin piece of metal(the radar bracket) between the headliner and upper bracket, but I did notice that the overhead in that area is metal. Maybe I can mount the base of the RD using two small screws. Sorry for the rambling, but now we know.
