Snowy the 2012 I bought was owned by people on the outskirts of Burlington VT. They had the car serviced in Manchester NH. Kind of a long ride for service. But when they dropped it off they would get a loaner and when the service or repairs were done the dealership would deliver the car to them and drive the loaner back.....not too shabby.

Thanks that is what I figured. The dealer's "tech specialist" said that it should go all the way back regardless of how far up the seat is set. I think you are right and the dealer is misinformed here.

It would be nice if it went further back though!

Thanks for the tip! We are closer to the Latham, NY dealer and will probably use them. We often drive to the "big city" for shopping anyway
