Good ideas and I will ask to them to do that. I tried to get them to let me go somewhere else and she said the only way they would do it is if that dealership handled it. So, as bad as I hate to I guess I will take it there.

ross072568, I'm glad Lexus came through. It wasn't looking so good the other day. I was worried. Let the dealer know you expect them to do a professional job. The creased plastic in your picture looks like it's part of the wheel well liner. You might want to push them for replacement. And I know it's not ideal letting the dealer do the work. They should warranty it and provide a loaner. On the positive side, once it's fixed you can be done with them and hopefully go back to enjoying your RX again. I wish you the best of luck.

Talk to service today and I'm happy to report that I will be getting a loaner! A 2015 Lexus ES like I had the last time. Makes me very happy. Now if the body shop matches up the paint it will be awesome. And I did ask him about painting the bumper off the vehicle and he said he would check on that. Hopefully they will. This place sounds like they do a great job. I was told that they have taken two vehicles to Barrett-Jackson or Mecum and sold them for over $150,000. They do a lot of painting of hot rods and show cars so I'm pretty comfortable with this place doing the work. I'm suppose to go next week sometime.

That is great news. The body shop sounds like they know what they're doing. It's good you spoke with them first so they know what you want. It also gave you some confidence about their work which is important too. Thanks for keeping us posted.

I went and picked the Lexus up last night and they did an excellent job from what I can see. It was getting a little dark but from what I could tell the paint has matched up very well. I found out from the service tech that the body shop is Lexus certified. Once he told me that I was relieved and wasn't worried so much. Anyway, I'm happy to report that it matched up very well and the little crease that was there is also gone. I think that was from the clip being broken. I'm just glad it looks as good as it does.
