as the title mentions but its supposed to say (CHANGE ). does the 3.5 take exactly 6.5 quarts?

The amount of oil added is never exact as it depends on how warm the car is when you change it, how level the car is, how long you wait to let it drain. Some folks open it up then go to lunch to let it all drain for an hour rather than 5 - 10 minutes. Including the oil filter it is listed as 6.4 quarts in the owners manual. I usually add 6 then start it for a few minutes to check for leaks, shut it off and check the oil after letting sit for 10 minutes. However, sometimes it is so hard to see the new oil on the dipstick I check it again a few days later after it has become a bit darker.
