Default Programming garage door opener

I have 2 homes and would like to use the programmed feature. Is it possible to program more than one code?

There are 3 buttons. You can program 3 different features.
If you use the same brand of openers, (in some circumstances) you can even reuse same buttons once one of the remotes is programmed in. Just program both openers and that's it.

However, depending on the year of your vehicle it may not program some Chamberlain-Liftmaster openers.

As vlad_a stated, it may be possible to use a single button to operate openers at more than one home if they are same manufacture or even different manufacture if they use the same frequency and coding.

I operate openers at 3 different homes using the same button on my car. Just train the car to one remote and try to use the learn button on the opener at each home to teach it.

I use the same button to operate older (about 10 years old) Liftmaster, Chamberlain and Sears openers at the 3 homes.

Good luck and report back.

Do you have a mirror that looks like this:
Amazon.com: Gentex Auto Dimming Mirror W/ Compass, Homelink (Mito Harness): Automotive Amazon.com: Gentex Auto Dimming Mirror W/ Compass, Homelink (Mito Harness): Automotive

Chances are, this is a USDM option.

Default Security Issue

Be aware that the garage door button will open the garage door even if there is no key present, i.e., anyone can open your garage if they gain access to the button.

Thats how all gaage door openers work. They isn't a difference in security between the car system and a standalone remote
