yes, based on the instructions of using compressed air, i wonder how well they will hold.

The old AEM instructions say not to use compressed air due to the possible error of using too high a pressure and dislodging the media and creating a hole.

Clean the Ugr8 filter from the clean side out from a distance with compressed air to avoid that issue.

 

Thanks for the tip, however since the filter is only about $25 dollars I will just replace it about every two years since i would be spending too much time cleaning it and it will never be 100% clean like new.

 

I don't know specifically for the RX, but the upgr8 filter for the 2IS says you can wash the filter with water on the box.

I will still just swap it out.

I am fine with spending $20 every two years for a filter change.

But it is good information for the budget minded members out there.
