Not as in involved but came out well. Swapped out the upper grill on my '13

I like that look of just the upper grill. I want to do this to mine. Do it yourself or at dealer? @mcfancy

Hi All,

I have a 2015 RX with some light front end damage... I am replacing the luxury bumper cover with the F-Sport Cover... I think I have just about everything to arrive. but now I look at the bumper cover. How do the fog lights mount to the bumper cover or so they mount else... Will i need new brackets?

Can I still use my OEM LED fog lights from my luxury bumper? I'd appreciate any guidance.

Default F-Sport Bumper Upgrade for 2010 RX450h

I want to do an upgrade to the F-Sport bumper. I've been reading so I know I'll lose the autofocus headlights. Does anyone know where I can buy one? I saw one for sale here: https://www.car-act.com/product/en/2...eadlights.html

Wasn't sure if there were places in North America that still sold them. Anyone have any experience sourcing them?

Cool F-Sport Bumper Conversion Done!

Bought a 1 owner 2015 RX450h with 158k miles and decided to do the F-Sport bumper conversion. This is not a project for the faint of heart. The frustration I had doing this was intense. The hardest thing for me was removing and re-installing the parking sensors and sensor housing and getting the bumper lined up properly so it will pop in. I also had a hard time putting the grill Into the bumper. Here are some before and after pics.

Before

Bumper down, fog lamps and sensors still connected

Bumper removed. Black impact absorber removed

Air duct installed

Impact absorber reinstalled over air duct

Fog lamp bracket(This bracket is different from the brackets on the non sport bumper)

A look at the backside of the sport bumper/grille

Almost finished, took over an hour from this point just to get it aligned

Finished!

4 Frustrating hours later

No idea how I haven't seen this thread after countless searches. Does anyone have any updates on their conversion? I'm mainly focused on the headlight swap/rewiring process for our 2011 RX350 w/ AFS.

I'm currently looking at the 4th-generation front-end swap similar to @Davidadam in post #54. Posts on the forums for other models with AFS had also said that pulling the fuse got rid of their warning messages, so I'm trying to figure out why @AceSpades and @Davidadam ran into issues with error messages popping up. Thanks!

Do you mind providing a list of parts? I have a 2013 instead of the 2010 OP has so the steps could be different.

Thank you!

Default 2013 Lexus RX350 front bumper conversion to F Sport

Hi, I purchased an Lexus RX350 2013 with a damaged front bumper and I'm wondering if I can install the F Sport bumper instead since I anyway have to do this. Does anyone know if the head lights wash, headlight wash covers, fog lights, parking sensors, parking sensors rings, bumper retainers, headlights and fenders remains the same? Maybe someone have a list of part numbers I need in order to do all this. I saw conversion kits online but I would like to go only with original parts. Thank you very much for reading this and hope to hear back from you guys soon!

Welcome to CL. Did you read this entire thread?
Your request/question has been asked many times within this same thread.
The bottom line is if you are not doing the labor yourself, then it is not worth the money to pay a body shop. The other challenge is that on a difficulty scale of 1 to 10, those who have done it called this project a 7. Nobody has yet to provide the part numbers you requested. If you talk to a body shop you will find the expense for the project may equal the cost of the vehicle.
Save you money for upcoming mechanical maintenance and repairs, and just repair/replace the bumper and get on with drivng. That alone may cost $2000.
This is an 11 year old vehicle that could be totaled by the insurance company for what you may think is minor damage.
Good Luck with whatever you decide to do on the RX.
