Audio/Radio button reset on Steering wheel
So recently, we had some work done our 2013 RX 350. And I think the preset radio buttons are not working correctly after that on the steering wheel. The Mode button doesn't work. And the preset down button raises the volume.
Is there anyway to reset these?
I found this article but it's for the older RXs which had a key. Mine is keyless. Will it still work or are there other procedures to reset the buttons?

This applies only to 2004-2008 SC430 with NAV (I thought all had NAV, but that is was the bulletin says)
1. Insert the key in the ignition and turn it on to the ACC position. Within 30 seconds perform steps 2 and 3.
2. Press and hold the audio MODE switch for more the 10 seconds.
3. After releasing the MODE switch, press the channel up switch 3 times and then the channel down switch 3 times within 5 seconds. NOTE: Make sure you are pressing the channel buttons and NOT the volume buttons.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON then to the OFF position.
5. Confirm proper operation of the steering wheel controls
Thanks.

I think you can hold down the power button for X number of seconds while the car is on and that resets the audio system
I'm not positive of this. I remember reading about this somewhere on this forum.
Also, I'm not sure this would help your problem since it has to do with the steering wheel controls.
You may need more of a reset than that
Before doing this, research more. Or call your dealer. Some times if you get the right service person on the phone, they may tell you what to do to reset it (if you're lucky)

I am having this same issue with my 2013 Lexus RX350. My audio controls on the steering wheel have been out for over a year now. Did you happen to find a resolution to this problem that you could share? I just don’t want to spend an arm and leg trying to get it fixed due to it not affecting the performance of the vehicle. Thank you for your time and would appreciate any feedback you can give me.

In a moment of desperation, one can disconnect the battery for about 30 mins. [You are bound to loose many settings].
This takes care of gremlins in the system.
