Just purchased my 2013 rx350 need help
It was a water flood it was running and driving perfect car sat at the auction yard for 3 months , went to go pick up and the car won't start but it has power, the car steering wheel is locked , displays shows brake malfunction , help please !!!

I would first go to the owners manual (register your Vin on the toyota website and the manual is there plus you can see service history). Check to see if there is a procedure to unlock the steering wheel. If you can't get the steering wheel released have it towed to a dealer.

I have to agree with the last poster here.
Never,Never,Never buy a flood damaged car unless you have very deep pockets due to the multitude of issues that could happen like rust, shorted ecu/pcm modules especially a luxury car/SUV.
Well, there is no need for me to go any deeper into the matter.
Hopefully, the issue is just isolated to the brake system.
I would take the car to an auto electrical repair shop first and let them trouble shoot the wiring and control systems.
It will be costly$$$$ most likely, but I do not believe that you will find a cheap fix for this issue.
Lesson learned I hope about buying a flooded luxury car no matter how much of good deal it seemed to be at the time.
