Default RX 450H Extended Warranty (Lexus Plat) coverage

I am looking into getting the Extended Warranty Platinum Plan. In the brochure: https://www.sc.toyotafinancial.com/w..._eBrochure.pdf

it says these are not covered:

Hybrid Vehicle Battery Pack; Hybrid Vehicle Battery Plug Assembly; Hybrid Vehicle Relay Assembly

Does anyone have a 450H with the Platinum Plan and had any issues using their extended warranty? Are those uncovered items a deal breaker for buying the extended plan? Many thanks in advance!

No, but I wasn't sure if that warranty exclusion should be a warranty deal breaker. This is my first Lexus and my first hybrid - wasn't sure what to expect.

Congrats on your Lexus. I also contemplated with the extended warranty, I figured it wasn't necessary due to reliability of Lexus and plus hybrid parts wasn't covered which is the only thing I was worried about. So I ended up not getting it. Off topic question...are you from Houston that bought the black 450h at sterling?

I bought a used 2010 RX450h, when I brought it in for the o2 sensor recall, I asked the advisor about it. He gave me a price on it which was quite high, but in turn he stated that the odds of something going wrong with this car is slim. In his 15 years of working at Lexus he doesn't see many RX's needing a major work. I never got the extended warranty.
