Default Price on 2013 RX350

I just joined this forum with interest in this vehicle:
http://www.lexusofbellevue.com/Vehic...-WA/2790820093

2013 CPO, AWD, 37k miles, asking $37,995
Navigation System, Backup Camera, Comfort Pkg: Xenon HID Headlamps, Rain-sensing and Driver/Passenger Heated & Ventilated Seats, 19" Aluminum Alloy Wheels, Intuitive Parking Assist, Premium Package w/Blind Spot Monitor System: Leather Trim Interior, Moonroof, Power-folding Mirrors, Driver's Seat/Steering/Mirror Memory-3 settings, Roof Rails, Towing Prep Pkg: Transmission Cooler, Heavy Duty Alternator/Radiator (does not include ball mount), Wood & Leather Trimmed Steering Wheel & Shift ****

Thoughts? Seems a little steep to me. Thanks!

According to KBB, a BRAND NEW RX350 with AWD, but just standard equipment, retails for $44K, and "should" sell for $41,600, with negotiation.

You are looking at a 3-year-old used car with 37K miles, and the dealer wants you to pay $2,000 less than you can buy a new one, without as many options? That is crazy. Realistic price is about $32K,IMO.

Or $1500 less than my 14500-mile 2015 F-Sport was, two months ago.

I would only consider the list price as a starting price for negotiation, so I wouldn't write it off just because of that. I have a '13 RX with a few more options and slightly less mileage with a trade in value right around $32k. I think something in the $34-35k range would be reasonable. You can always check with them.

Or I'll be trading my very gently used RX in probably next month... ;-)

2014, Nav & Blindspot, purchased 12/28/15 (7 mo ago) CPO, 2,600 miles (really), 2 yr 2 mo old. $37,995 The dealer wouldn't budge, not even $1. I did insist on the 2nd key (heard they were $$$) and full set of owner books (also heard they were $$), plus a full wax/polish detail, and they obliged me on all points.

For exactly the same price as ours with 2,600 miles, I think you can find a better deal. Mind you, I did spend everyday for almost 6 months hunting for a deal. This seemed to be it. Don't bother with pre-approved 3rd party financing, unless you can walk in with a bank check. If you can't pay cash, go with their loan to take possession of the car (make sure no prepay penalty) and just refi the next day.

People who own homes in different countries regularly buy new cars and don't drive them. They get sold after 2 or 3 years. You'll find them if you are patient and willing to drive a few hours to the CPO dealer. Its a nice car. Our previous was a new 2001 RX and sold it for this. 15 years as an in-town daily driver and only 3 problems (throttle body replacement, window regulator, antenna motor).

I think that's high. I just bought a 2013 CPO AWD w/ 19k miles yesterday for $32,675 before DMV fees and tax (includes Nav package, premium pkg, comfort pkg, parking assist and blind spot monitor). The car was $50,100 new.

Do you have a high volume dealer in your area? Everything in my area (NJ) for a 2013 with 20-35k miles was in the $32 to $35k range.

Kelly Blue Book has it priced at $33,000. At 36,000 miles, if the tires have not been replaced they will need to be. Brand new tires is about $1,000 to your benefit. I would not go over the $33,000 even with new tires. The 30,000 mile service was done at 36,000 miles. The 5,000, 10,000 and 20,000 mile service was done on time. The right front fender had some dents repaired. Look that over really well at different angles.

I can't get $38K for a 2014 with those miles.

Granted, West Coast prices ARE higher than out here, but that's a car that I'd probably sell for around $31K CPO'd.

In my recent searches, I found 2013's with low miles around $32-33, 2014's around $36, and 2015's in the $39-40k range. We settled on a 2013 due to our budget, but we found each year newer was about another $3-4k give or take (these were all fully loaded cars with new MSRPs of $50k).

Thanks for all the responses, I appreciate the feedback. I actually just got back from the test drive and offered 32.5k +ttl. They wouldn't budge on their 'fair' pricing. I walked away from the car. There are plenty of other rx350s in the Seattle area.

Thanks 11bravo, I've been browsing on auto trader, but I found another rx350 with similar equipment as above for 35,995. I plan to email this dealer since their not 2 miles away like the one I visited today.

Apparently this lexus of bellevue dealership is adopting some lexus plus pricing (aka no haggle) policy. This dealership is quite impressively sized and decorated, but it makes sense if they have customers paying inflated prices for vehicles.

Anyone else having issues with the lexus drivers website? I can't seem to get detailed service history like i could last week. Only shows service dates and the mileage, not what was actually done. Does anyone have access to look up the following vins for me? Otherwise I'll have to ask a nearby lexus dealer or wait on the site update. Thank you.

I believe they updated it and it is not behaving properly.
