streaks that come down from side mirrors on both sides?

I don't think I have had a car in 20 years that did not do that. Water gets behind the power mirror lens, and flows down when the car is moved. If you wipe off the streak when you park your car after washing, and if it has time to dry before you move it again, you will likely not have any water come off the mirrors

Sorry this is bothering you so much... In my experience almost every car I've owned in the past 20 years has done this to some extent, my previous MB's did it, one of my previous Lexus's did it, our current Acura does it etc. It only annoys me after a wash, but as I previously mentioned, since I use a leaf blower anyway it's a non issue for me.

I just used a large Stihl backpack blower to dry off my RXh this past week, and had not "oil spit spots" anywhere on the vehicle afterwards. The spit spots could potentially become an issue if you're using an older blower with lots of internal wear. The largest issue I had was maneuvering the blow tube up high enough to do the top of the vehicle. From taht standpoint, a smaller blower would be much more easily managed, and the electric models would be lighter as well.

I had this on my RX too, like no other vehicle I've owned. I'd get the streaks down the door and I'd have to polish them off as they would leave water stains. A leaf blower would not work because it happened when it rained, which sort of happens a lot here in Seattle...

i didn't notice this on my 2005 rx. maybe because that one was flint mica, not black? i don't know.

I also get the stains / streaks when it rains, but that never bothered me because after the rain the RX is getting washed anyway. And in my case, the streaks just wash right off with car wash soap, I have never needed to polish them out. Now granted I wax my vehicles very often so maybe that's why they come off easily..

Ask about the MB in the Detailing forum. Several folks use them, but they're pretty expensive
