The word "flap" is used here as both a noun and a verb...

Thank you mcomer!

Can someone post pictures of the plastic attachments on the rear seat backs? That will help me compare with mine and I can see if I get the flap from an older model. Thank you!

The plastic pieces with hooks for the flaps would take the place of the pieces I circled in your photo below (fourth one not in this photo).

You'd have to get a new cargo cover as the flaps are integral to the cover.

Thank you, takeshi74. Thank you; I did notice the pieces on the seat back. They maybe different from the 2010-2013s so I was asking if someone could post pictures of theirs.

Default Cargo/ tonneau cover compatibility

So will any 2010 onwards RX350 cargo cover - the one that comes with a flap to cover the gap - fit in a 2014 RX?

Default Will this fit a 2014 RX350?

I’ve been looking for a cargo cover with the flap to cover the gap. Found this on eBay; it states for 2010-2012 but since there were no design changes internally from 2010-2015, I’m wondering if this would fit my 2014 RX 350 (base).

Thank you for your help!

.

The overall length and end cap profile will fit perfectly.
You will need the 2nd row seat back side hooks to replace
the blank bumps in order to attach the flap fittings

I ordered the pieces and installed them on my 2015 a while back. They're direct replacements. I've just been waiting for a cargo cover with flaps in decent condition for a price I'm willing to pay in my interior color to pop up on ebay.

Thank you, mcomer!

One question; is the flexible piece or flap which connects the cargo cover to back of the seat removable? The reason I ask is that I found a parts only item on eBay and if the piece can be removed from the metal casing and reinstalled on mine, I can have an OEM part which is what I prefer.

PS: love the grey interior of your RX 😀; looks like new!. Wish my RX had that; the RX was in such a good condition that I made the compromise to go for a black interior.

Thanks again and would love to see pictures of the cover installed in your RX (if you don’t mind sharing).

To be honest, I took mine off for now because it's bulky when not in use. Here's some pictures of what I did. It's a cargo cover from a Buick Enclave. It's black material with elastic. It works well and just rolls in a ball when not needed.

That’s a cool trick!

when you install the cover you got from Amazon, I’d love to see it. Thank you!
