Voltage regulator/alternator covered under warranty?
Bought a lexus rx 350 2 years ago. Just found out i need a voltage regulator or alternator. Would this be covered under their warranty ? If not i'll go to toyota near by. Any help please

Warranty is based on date of purchase [time] and milage [which ever is reached first] unless you have extended warranty.
Give your service advisor a call to find out if you are covered or not. If you think the advisor is giving you wrong info, check the owners manual, warranty service manual.
Who diagnosed you need a new regulator/alternator?
I have not worked on alternator for 350, but the regulator is inside the alternator and if I was out of warranty, I would replace the regulator. Although aftermarket alternators and regulators are available, I would spend the extra $$ and fix it myself.

I hope you really do not have an alternator problem. Lexus should have done their due diligence with the charging parameter check. If they say it is the battery, then it is. Do you know how long the battery has been in service? What year is your RX350?
