Eliminate Nav screen banners at startup
Is there a way to eliminate or reduce the time the banners show up on the Nav screen at start up to let you know the phone and USB have connected? I just want to backup and go but the banners obscure the top part of the camera screen. Thanks for any help.

Corporate approved a complimentary maps update for me as my brand new Lexus had rather dated maps, and the dealer did the firmware flash at the same time.
Latter fixed known bluetooth issues and banners went away. I barely remember them now, but they were annoying. That was back in 2014.
Nav still thinks I live in the middle of a field, but whatever.
I don't know what the story is past the warranty period.
Corporate could approve a complimentary firmware flash if you mention having bluetooth issues.

Just keep in mind everything revolves around the money.
Dealers get the money either from the customer or the corporation or out of the profit they make at the time of sale. A few times they will invest in the customer too, but every day the mechanic/tech has to be paid for the time.

Thanks for the reply's. I'm out of original warranty period on my CPO 2013 RX350 but at 55K I still have some coverage left d/t the CPO coverage. I'll be going into my 60K visit toward the end of the year and will ask about the firm ware update. Is there a TSB out there on this or is it just user preference?
Thanks again
